Alanine:

Cysteine:

Glutamine:
Glutamine serves the brain by neutralizing excess ammonia (a by-product of brain metabolism), thus creating a clearer space for brain activity. L-glutamine has been shown to improve a persons IQ, alleviate fatigue, helps depressive symptoms, impotence, and speeds healing. It is also well-known to decrease the craving for alcohol and is a valuable adjunct in the treatment of alcoholism.

Histidine:
Histidine is important in the production of red and white blood cells used in treatment of anemia. It increases assimilation of food and water.

Isoleucine:
Isoleucine is used in the body to produce certain biochemical compounds that help in energy production.

Leucine:
A deficiency of leucine can cause a biochemical malfunction producing hypoglycemia in infants. Leucine is also helpful in healing wounds of the skin and bones.

Methionine:

Valine:
Valine promotes proper functioning of the central nervous system.
