Laboratory Tests, Clinical Trials and Clinical Tests Prove
Why Hard Vitamin Pills Don't Work Too Well

Los Angeles, CA - January 17 - So much non-scientific information has been published regarding the effectiveness as well as articles regarding the ineffectiveness of vitamins and supplements. In a multi billion dollar market, opinions should be received by the reader or listening audience as opinion in lieu of clinical / scientific data derived through non-bias, independent testing.

Effectiveness of any vitamin or supplement is dependent upon its dissolve / absorption rate. Simply put, if the pill doesn't dissolve, it cannot be absorbed, therefore there is limited or no benefit to taking the vitamin or supplement. Let's do the math. If a pill has a 20% dissolve rate, your benefit is far less than the value stated on the bottle.

Researchers Dennis R. Maness, PhD and Marianne H. Rice wanted to learn the effectiveness of vitamins and supplements and determined to conduct a double blind study involving vitamins and a placebo. Maness and Rice have invested over twenty years in clinical research in controlled laboratory and clinical environments developing cognitive therapies and were looking to determine the value of over the counter vitamins, minerals and amino acids and their affect on the brain. Past works of Maness and Rice included projects with research departments at Stanford University, Georgetown University Medical Center, Stony Brook University, Rutgers, Cornell Universities, Southern Baptist University and other research organizations in the United States and Asia. They decided on a double blind clinical study utilizing a premium vitamin and a placebo.

Vitamins are assigned a potency value by an independent laboratory to determine the scavenging capability by antioxidants to kill free radicals. This value is called the ORAC Value.

They found the highest ORAC Value was assigned to a liquid vitamin maker called Passion 4 Life. Passion 4 Life's ORAC Value is 45,099 which is higher than any over the counter vitamin today as far as we know.

In order to qualify for the study, participants had to be clinically diagnosed by their own doctor and referred into the program. Participants included those who were energy deprived, ADD, ADHD, Depressive and ODD subjects. For three weeks, the participants were given Passion 4 Life liquid vitamins followed by three weeks of the placebo. Each week, participants were tested on stress reaction test, errors of omission and commission, cognitive, social judgment by family, friends and peers and productivity.

Maness and Rice have developed a new theoretical hypothesis that illustrates how Passion 4 Life liquid vitamins can stimulate cellular DNA so the DNA can transcribe new directions to the RNA. Maness and Rice believe that Passion 4 Life is a breakthrough product that exhibits this DNA / RNA effect.

Utilizing Passion 4 Life, participant energy increased 36%, utilizing the placebo, energy scores decreased by 61%. Utilizing the vitamin, cognitive skills improved 45%, utilizing the placebo, cognitive skills decreased 77%. Utilizing vitamin and stress reduction skills, stress reaction improved 65% while decreasing 85% after three weeks of placebo.

Maness and Rice will be in La Jolla with Passion 4 Life liquid vitamins Friday through Sunday at January 19-21 at the annual Scripps Institute Conference on Natural Supplements to be held at the Torrey Pines Hilton in La Jolla, California.
